Products - Overview

Continental Control Systems specializes in designing and manufacturing the WattNode® AC power and energy meters. Available products include standard pulse-output watt-hour transducers and LonWorks® interoperable power, energy, and demand meters. Applications include utility sub-metering, end-use metering, equipment performance monitoring, verification, evaluation, and diagnostics.
WattNode Plus for LonWorks - The WattNode Plus measures 27 electric power related quantities: power (kW), energy consumption (kWH), voltage, current, power factor (PF), frequency, demand, peak demand and time of peak demand. Individual phase measurements are available for most measurements. In addition, it logs KWH reading at user configured intervals. The Advanced Pulse Output WattNode - is a true RMS AC watt-hour transducer with pulse output (solid state relay closure) proportional to kWH consumed. LCD Display for Pulse Output WattNodes - These LCD displays connect to the Pulse Output WattNodes to display energy (watthours) and/or power (watts). LCD Display
Current Transformers - The WattNode uses current transformers (CTs) to provide a safe non-intrusive measurement of up to 4000 amp circuits. Solid core (toroid) and split core (opening) CTs are available.
